This section has information that will help those who provide health care service to youth in Manitoba. Health care providers who work in Teen Clinics may be doctors, nurses, social workers or mental health care workers. Some Teen Clinics in Manitoba also have volunteers who are part of the health care team. Youth-friendly health care services at Teen Clinic are intended to be provided using a harm reduction approach and be pro-choice, youth friendly, culturally safe and LGBT2SQ+ positive. Teen Clinics provide low-barrier primary health care at a dedicated time and space for youth.
