Peer Teen Clinic volunteers are part of the health care team at several Teen Clinics in Winnipeg and in Selkirk, Manitoba.  Volunteers receive 45 hours of training in a variety of topics relevant to issues that youth bring to Teen Clinics. Teen Clinic volunteer training is a partnership between the Healthy Child Manitoba Office, the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority, Klinic Community Health, Interlake Eastern Regional Health Authority, Youville  and NorWest Co-op Community Health.

Teen Clinic volunteers are required to make a one year commitment to volunteering after training.  For more information or an application package, contact: volunteer@wrha.mb.ca

The resource materials listed are supplemental readings for current Teen Clinic volunteers in training.
